The plastic is pretty good quality and the installation was easier than expected. If you don’t know, with just about every aftermarket psp housing you have to file a lot of stuff down. It’s usually every slot that the charger or headphone jack will go into and a screw so the other reviews saying it was built horribly just don’t understand how it works. The buttons weren’t the great however so I suggest keeping your original and make sure you have the proper screw driver for the screws as it isn’t included (a Phillips 1.5mm, it’s $7 CAD here on amazon). Otherwise a pretty good product. If you’re looking for something better than buy a broken psp and swap the housing, mix match even. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the aftermarket shell swap for a beginner but this product is the same as any other you’ll find on eBay or Ali express. And if anyone’s wondering, I’m running custom firmware (Ark 4) with the custom launcher that comes with it.

Great but the d pad buttons were just alittle off as a repair tech im well versed in repairs so it wasnt a tech issue it was the plastic sizing of the buttons themselves so i stuck with the original piano black ones and it works just fine and looks better in my opinion

Whoever packaged this game me 1 stripped screwdriver, and the other too large for any of the screws. The power switch piece was left out for me to snap in on my own instead of coming preassembled like every video and written tutorial i found on this had it. the plastic pieces don't fit in well (yes i has an original phat psp 1000) causing a lot of wedging in. once assembles, the left side likes so split apart and all the buttons wobble.Not sure if these are all the same or just this one specifically is horrible.
