I recently rebuilt a utility trailer and the existing safety chain was a bit lacking. I decided to upgrade to a pair of heavy duty chains, and these from KITUYOTO appeared to fit the bill. They arrived in good condition and they look great. The hooks are super heavy duty with good sized pins. The chain itself is robust and uniform with no visible defects. Everything looks tough. The only slight drawback is the zinc plated hardware is cheap and flimsy. That includes the spring-loaded clip on the hook and the cotter pin. These don't affect the strength or utility of the chains very much, however. This is my 2nd product from KITUYOTO and both have been great. Definitely recommended if you need some good chains.

These chains are heavy duty and have a nice finish. A much better option for my old utility trailer's plastic wrapped cables. While I haven't done an official strength test and hope to never do so, they give me a feel of confidence between my truck and trailer. Would definitely recommend.

What in the world is "skookum built"? Well, a Sherman Tank is skookum built; a ship's anchor is skookum built; a 10 lb. sledgehammer is skookum built.You get the idea--these trailer chains are strong, secure, and built like a tank! Plenty of length to fit any trailer hookup you might have in mind, and they'll hold even when your hitch fails. They are rated at 4,900 lbs. each, so your trailer isn't going anywhere.Highly recommended!

These trailer safety chains are solid quality for towing. We do a lot of towing. The G80 alloy steel feels strong and durable, with a working load limit of 4,900 lbs per chain—perfect for trailers, trucks, and SUVs. At 36 inches long, they’re about the length of a baseball bat, offering enough reach without excess slack. The safety hook design is secure and easy to use. The zinc-plated finish resists corrosion well, so they’re ideal for outdoor use in tough weather. These are great safety chaings for towing. These are very stout and the finish should protect them from road grime and road salt spray.

These are very nice trailer chains, and definitely an upgrade for me. They are heavy and have a nice finish on them to prevent rusting. I am very happy with them and hope to never need them, but I am confident I can depend on them if I do.

Put these on an old trailer I bought that didn’t have any safety chains, and they are working great so far. They were easy to put on, and they look great.

This is a beast chain. Great red lobster claws hook. I feel confident with these chain on my trailer going down freeway. One thing I don’t like is, chains all greased up. After hooking up trailer your hand all blackened with grease.
