Cleared Check engine light

I've had a check engine light for about 6 months. Code P0456, small evap leak. 2018 BMW 330i. I tried the obvious, new gas tank cap. CEL came back after about 100 miles every time. A little more research pointed me to the Fuel Tank Breather Valve, (Purge Valve). I found options of Bosch OEM for $70 or genuine BMW for $100+. I took a chance for $20 with this one ad for about a week it has worked perfectly. Passed smog a few days ago and no pending codes. Longevity is untested but I would recommend at this point.

A good copy of the original from a looks perspective. Unfortunately it didn’t function any better than the one I was replacing. I got an original Bosch and it worked fine. Luckily I was able to return this.
