- Always clean the cover and the outside and inside tank, replace the old strainer and fuel pipe.
- Replace the old fuel with clean standard fuel which you can get from the gas station.
- Vehicle should be filed with full tank fuel before parking for a certain long time.
- Replace the filter on a regular basis.

Installed 9 days ago and really pleased so far. Have driven vehicle (2015 Nissan Sentra SV) every day since approx. 65 highway miles per day at avg. 75mph without issue. Part fit perfectly, no issue there, but be mindful of two critical things - you will need an o ring if you are unable to reuse yours. Clean any gas off of it!! I was able to reuse mine. Also, there was a little clip that secures the fuel line to the pump that I was able to reuse from the old pump. Extremely critical as without this clip the line will eventually slide off due to vibration. Always save old parts unless you’re 100% sure the new part has everything you’ll need!Solid part so far, easy to install.

Parts seem of decent quality, no leftovers or things like that.Installed it on my car and it's been running well for 3 months, can't really tell if it made a mileage difference but for sure the pump is a strong one, probably will hold on for 2 years or more.

Bought this fuel pump assembly for my daughters 2003 Nissan 1.8. The car was having hard starting issues as well as other fuel related issues such as stalling, hesitation, etc. I have to say that the installation was an absolute breeze. The pump came very well packaged. It appeared to be carefully wrapped completely with bubble wrap and placed in an individual box. It took me about 20 minutes from start to finish for installation. I only needed an 8mm socket and a pair of needle nose pliers. There is a little orange clip that holds the original fuel line in place on the old pump. Remove that carefully because you have to use it with the new assembly. The new pump fit perfectly with no modifications. The price was one of the best I found. After installation, I started the car up and took it for a ride. All the issues were gone and the car is running like new. If you are looking to save yourself some money, I would recommend buying this assembly and doing the work yourself. Just make sure you know before you order if your pump has one or two tube ports. Mine had one. On this model Nissan, you just lift the rear seat out and the access panel to the pump is right there covered by a plate that has three notches you turn to release it. The new pump plugs right in and drops right into the hole! There are many videos out there to help through the removal and install. This fuel pump/assembly is one part and comes ready to plug in.
