NECESSARY FUEL OIL INJECTION PRESSURE TESTER TOOL
Testing fuel pressure is an essential part of the troubleshooting process for fuel injection system. Proper fuel pressure is vital for engine operation and performance.
- Too high fuel pressure may be caused by a bad fuel pressure regulator or kinked outlet return line, and can cause the engine to run too rich, incomplete combustion, excessive fuel consumption, increased carbon buildup, exhaust exceeding the standard.
- And a low fuel pressure may be caused by kink/leak/clog on inlet supply side components, a bad fuel pump or regulator, low tank pressure, and will lead to a lack of horsepower, stalling, and a slow or no-start condition.

WIDE USAGE for FUEL INJECTION TESTER
1.Gauge range: 0-140psi / 0-10 bar. Suitable for most types of petrol / gas / gasoline engines (no more than 140psi). Attention: Bosch, CIS Jetronic, Throttle Body Systems on GM vehicles are excluded. And not for diesel high pressure injection pump or direct-injection engine.
2. Two connection methods for fuel pressure test
Check if your vehicle's fuel pressure can be tested by one of following connection styles:
a. Directly hook up fuel pressure test port
- 15"L long hose is used for direct connection to the 1/4" SAE standard Schrader valve on the fuel rail or fuel pump
- 8"L short hose for test port M6
- 5-1/2"L short hose for small Schrader valve (compatible with some Ford)
- M8/M10/M12/M14 adapters for the corresponding test port on fuel rail
b. In-line connection
- Use the aluminum tee with brass fittings to splice in-line between the fuel pump and engine for test.
NOTE
1.Please wear protective gloves and masks during operation
2.This universal automotive fuel injection pump pressure tester gauge tool kit should be used by or under the guidance of a professional.
3.Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer's user manual and compare the tested readings with recommended readings
4.Far away from fire and flammable items. Keep fire extinguishers ready. Operate in a dry and ventilated environment
5.Do not allow gasoline to come in contact with the hot manifolds or other engine components.
6.Ensure the connections are completely well-sealed. Avoid any fuel leaks. Use PTFE tape if necessary

I've tested fuel pressure on many vehicles since buying this kit. Simply put, it works! Good quality for the do it yourselfer with a price that's reasonable.

No need to include a picture, as what I got looks exactly like what is shown on Amazon. I checked the pressure in a tire with a tire pressure gauge, then hooked this up to the tire to verify the accuracy of the gauge before using. It was spot on, at least in that pressure range. I then used this to check the fuel pressure on the fuel injector rail of a 1992 Dodge Van that I am working on. Verified that I did have good static pressure and good idle pressure. I have found some other problems with the van that I’ve corrected, and if any drivability concerns continue, I feel confident that I can use this to watch the pressure under normal operating conditions. I worked in the parts department of auto dealerships for 30 years and saw a lot of special tools, and things like this pressure gauge that the technicians used. The quality of this gauge is not as good as what the pros use. It’s also not multiple hundreds of dollars. This kit functions accurately and fully, is of decent quality, has a ton of fittings, and is an excellent price point. I have no complaints and would recommend these to friends.

The only place easy place to measure fuel pressure on these squarebody's is at the fuel filter and this kit doesn't have an adaptor for that. Seems like it should be easy to include.This is more for fuel injected vehicles.
