Opened the box, added 3 drops of oil, hooked it up to air, loaded the correct staples into it and it didn’t do a thing. Went through the troubleshooting procedures and still nothing worked. Returning.

I used this to re-cover a set of dining room chairs and didn't have any issues with the staple gun. I set the regulator to 80 psi and it ran every staple in properly.Freeman Tools is owned by Prime Global Products, which is a major manufacturer of air tools; definitely not some generic junk. The feel and quality of this stapler is well worth the price.

Just right for upholstery. Gun is small and delivers staples fast and powerfully. Its easy to load staples(i used grex 22 gauge) but the mechanism for closing the loading bay is annoying as it requires holding the lever while closing. There is no safety so don't shoot your eye out.

This little unit is a workhorse and has served me well. It drives the staples completely and is great for reupholstering furniture.I must say that the staple tray on the first unit was bad and I had to call customer service. They were great and immediately sent me another unit by Fed Ex and a shipping label to return the other one.

Reupholstering a couch (first timer effort) using an electric stapler without an extended nose. When it came time to attach a tacking strip it was nearly impossible. Saw this on Amazon and purchased it (I had a small compressor). Wow! What a difference. Fantastic purchase. Made everything significantly easier. As for longevity....that is TBD. Just starting a chair this week.

Wow, I found this product to be a great find. I have been using clumsy manual staplers and electric staplers for years doing my upholstery work.Never again !! I hooked this up , read the instructions and warnings (!) and went right to work. Easy to load with staples, easy to adjust the pressure, fast discharge. Locking mechanism is easily engaged to keep you from triggering a staple when you don't intend to. No need to buy an expensive and huge air compressor... any compressor that will give you at least 60 psi will work fine. I use a 3 lb pancake compressor from Harbor Freight.Great balance of weight in your hand keeps it from getting tired. Adjustable air discharge director works great.

We use a lot of these here in our shop. Typically BEA, or other industrial guns. You certainly get what you pay for in this gun, but its not up for industrial use.Would I recommend it for someone who needs to reupholster a few pieces of furniture, or who wants to use it for projects around the house. Yes, this is the perfect gun at a fantastic price. If you're going to be shooting thousands of staples a day, day in and day out....not so much
