It is a fine product. The magnetic holddowns switch locks it to my work table top very securely. It was a bit of effort to figure out how to attach the caliper to the adjustable stalk but I found instructions online. The base of the stalk has a way to loosen and tighten flexibility once you have it where you want it. I had to fiddle a bit before figuring this out. Some instructions would have been nice.

This horrible tool sits in the tool box getting no use. It's off to the restore with this one. I wouldn't give this thing to anyone I know, even those I don't like so much.Horrible design with loosening the bottom knob and tighten the top one back and forth while trying to place the indicator. Sadly, I was attracted to the infinite flexibility design and did not do research.Pathetic, horrible waste of money.
