I had a little bit of rust in my fenders of my car. This worked very well to remove the rust and strip the area all the way down to bare metal. It held up really well and has plenty of life left.

This little tool is perfect for small or hard to reach area. But can work on larger surface too. It's very sturdy, despite its size. You dont have to apply much pressure. Make sure to wear a mask and protective glasses because the dust it produce is super fine and volatile. Forget that old wire brush, this will save you lots of time and effort at a small cost.

The wire brush worked as expected. I used it to grind rust off my truck. It became frayed a little sooner than I expected it would though, thus the 4 stars.

Exactly what I was looking for. I required a wire brush on a hex shank so I could attach it to a drill bit extension to get in a tight space and remove rust.

I was hesitant on this purchase, for one simple reason, wire wheels just seem to spread out and fall apart on me... I was surprised when I used this for about 20 minutes straight, with moderate pressure on it, showing only minor fraying afterward... I used this item in a drill to remove baked on powder coat from my Oklahoma joe wood smoker... There was only about a half inch rim around the edges that needed to be taken down to bare metal, if this item would have frayed out, it would have seriously scratched the heck out of unwanted places on my grill...

What is there to say? It's a wire brush. It's size matches the description. It's price was reasonable. It spins around in a drill. It scrubs away rust and burrs.

OMGoodness...I have used larger diameter wire brushes for 4 decades but now see the error of my ways. I ordered both the course and medium smaller diameter wire wheels and they made short work of cleaning the I.D. of my suspension bushing carrier. I had to remove all the old rubber after "burning" out the majority. I also used this wheel to clean the outside of some antique sawhorse brackets and the small diameter wheel got ito more nooks and crannys than I though possible. Excellent quality at a affordable price.
