This is now the 4th summer season for this replacement umbrella cover. It fit perfectly, was easy to install and is still clean and looking brand new. There is no wear or fading. We do not put it down during most storms! The taupe color is beautiful.

Don't throw out the umbrella just get a replacement canopy. Tons of colours to choose from, give your patio a splash of colour. Love the red, it even looks good from inside the house.

I had been looking for a new patio umbrella since we’ve had ours for many years and it was really faded. My husband suggested looking for just the cover since our pole was still fine. Glad he thought of that option. It was much cheaper and we are very happy with the quality of this item. It’s a canvas like feel just like our old one, so it seems pretty durable. We bought the bright red color and it’s beautiful. We’ve only had it for a week so I can’t comment on its fade resistance. At this price we feel like we can replace it if needed in a few years.

I had been looking for an umbrella in sage green and the few I found were outrageously expensive. Then I happened upon the Formosa replacement umbrella canopy. Since our umbrella pole was still in good shape, I took a leap of faith with ordering only the canopy. The Formosa canopy is the perfect color (just like the picture) and is made as good if not better than the one it replaced. The fabric is quality so should be durable and hold up to the scorching Texas sun. Time will tell on that one but for the price can't be beat. I liked it enough to buy another one for a spare!

I sprayed immediately with waterproofing and uv protectant to make sure it would last longer, so cannot speak to that. It fit my umbrella frame perfectly, is a gorgeous color, comes with a tie attached, quality stitching. Looks like it's built to last.The temperature under this umbrella is lower than my other umbrella, so it's blocking the sun much better than other umbrellas. Would buy again.

It is fine. Bit thin but good price. You can not return if altered and there is no way to try it without cutting a circle to fit over the top of pole where finial is. Sneaky. There is a hole cut about the size of a pencil so of course it will not fit on top of pole. Anyway we cut the hole larger and luckily it fit out umbrella pole.

Fits quite tight, hopefully will stretch just a little bit so we can use the tilt on the umbrella. Material seems quite durable. Nice navy colour. Very easy to install. Just installed so not sure how it will weather. Happy with he product so far.

I was shocked...SHOCKED!!!...to open the package and see that this canopy was as high-quality as it is. I had seen other canopies for 2-5 times as much (or more), but just didn't want to spend that kind of money. So I took a chance and ordered one of these just to see what it's like. Here's what I found:• The material looks far more like a canvas that I expected...about as thick as canvas without the weight. My expectation was that this might be very thin material. Very pleasantly surprised.• A small but important inclusion: A tie so one can tie up the fabric when cranked into the 'closed' position. I saw no indication this 'tie' was there when reading through the features...but it is! Another pleasant surprise.• My umbrella structure measures 55" from the finial to the tip of each spoke, so I was a little worried by the provided measurements of 52"-54". Truth is, this material is somewhat stretchable, so this canopy fit perfectly! Yet another pleasant surprise!• The only 'disappointment' in the quality of this canopy is that it appears as though the stitching was done quickly (not a lot of attention to detail here) and a few strands of thread were hanging when I initially installed on my frame. But a pair of scissors took care of these loose strands in 15-20 seconds and no one is going to examine the stitching anyway. (It's not bad...what canine reasonably expect with a lower-priced canopy anyway?)NET: Excellent value, including the ridiculous $13 shipping charge. A perfect replacement canopy, very reasonably priced!
