My bottom bolt was frozen solid. The only thing that will get in there is a ratcheting wrench. . Might help if you have a longer one for leverage? After the bolts were out I had to get into the slot and spread to remove.

The install was painless and it is working great. I secured the steering wheel tightly before starting and the result is that my steering wheel alignment is still perfectly centered.

Fit my 2012 F150 super crew with no issues. Install was fairly easy and straight forward. Fixed my problems with my steering wheel binding up or feeling "caught" when turning. So far so good!

So glad I had this item in my watchlist. I had been pb blasting my u-joints for the past couple of years because I didn't want to spend the usually $330+ on an o.e.m. part (and I wasn't going to risk getting an aftermarket product that might mess with the alignment), but with a baby on the way in a few months I was informed by my wife that I had to finally replace it before he arrives. The price and the part were perfect, and shipping only ended up being 2 days instead of the estimated 1-2 weeks, so that was outstanding! After watching a great youtube video, I was able to install this part with my dad in under an hour. Buying the part on here saved hundreds alone, and being able to install it myself saved another hundred. My F150 was acting like it had a belly in the steering. I had expected to be doing a power steering rebuild until I read a few mechanic's reviews. Turns out the road salt here in Pennsylvania doesn't agree with these universals and a replacement was needed. Wasn't difficult to install, but it doesn't come with bolts. Pick up a pair to make life easier.

The steering shaft fit perfect and restored the steering feel back to normal. No more locking up when turning the steering wheel. It did not change the steering wheel position either. Arrived before expected delivery date.
