Bought this for my son's club soccer team, as coaches wanted to name captains for each game. They are 8 & 9 year old boys, of varying sizes, from some the size of a typical 5 y/o, to my son who is the same size as his 12 y/o brother. There is a thin white elastic band inside that goes on first for smaller arms, then the band wraps around the arm, covering it up, and sticks together with velcro. For larger arms (my son) we don't use the white elastic part, it gets hidden when the band wraps around the arm. They wear it the entire game and forget it's on. Highly recommend.

My 8 years old boy has healthy skin. He never had skin problems with anything. But, after wearing it on his arm he got skin trouble. And, it has bad smell. I don’t recommend it.

Seem to be a good quality.. even though they are labeled for “youth” the size it’s too big.. I had to have my young Captain wear it around the calf.

If the kids wear short sleeve jerseys and this has to go on the actual arm, it can be very irritating to the skin. The Velcro tends to scratch them. Wish it were made of a material similar to a headband or wristband.
