I wanted something a little wider than the standard 2ft you find in most mats, but I didn't want 4ft. This is a perfect size for my daughter to practice basics on and we can multi purpose it for a mat for camping.

Nice, durable mat. Love the color, and it folds up well. Easy to carry. It does slide when tumbled on, but it works well enough. Bought for my 8 year old granddaughter.

I have one artificial hip and one, less than perfect, hip and doing floor exercises (like side leg lifts) on the hard surface was too painful. I needed a mat that was thicker and found this one. It is perfect - 1 1/2 inches thick and folds up so easy to store. I really like how colorful the mat is - makes exercising more fun.
