Super cool design, Fits perfectly to the holes and threads on the frame where a water bottle holder would go. I don't often leave mike bike where it need to be locked so I don't think about it often. Now I will be prepared if I make an impulsive stop to run into somewhere. I feel that its its more of a deterrent that slows down or keep good kids good. If someone want the bike bad enough there are bulky heavy locks that would be more secure. This one perfect for my needs and small compact profile works well. Good quality and design and an unpick able lock with 3 keys. It came with the holder to mount as complete package.

This lock is a finely executed lock, but not a very secure lock. First the good: The links moved very freely and the lock rotated smoothly. On the not so good side - the lock never wanted to release the hasp/accept the hasp without some drama/resistance. Second, the lock didn't feel very secure - kind of light and not confidence inspiring. The holder was fiddly and took some thought to open and close it. Lastly, with the links being so mobile, you needed three hands to overcome the resistance for the lock to engage the hasp cleanly while keeping the ever mobile links from just looking like a marionette with all its strings cut. Add to it that the locking mechanism is kind of open to the world and it uses thin walled metal, I did not want to lock my $3K bike up even to go in for coffee with this thing.Overall, it is a well executed (i.e. good workmanship) low security lock that appears to me to only provide a very brief challenge to a experienced bike thief. If you are riding a department store bike, this is a fine lock. If you are pedaling premium, you need to shop the premium aisle.

I'm in love with this thing. While very unassuming at first glance, this may be the perfect "light use" bicycle lock. Now, while I wouldn't lock up a pricey ride and go have dinner and drinks in NYC with this thing, I feel perfectly comfortable popping into a shop in a reasonable locale and expect my bike to be safe with this thing. Very well machined and finished, it folds down to next to nothing. This is the first lock that I've ever actually mounted to my frame. The ease of use between having on my bike and actually wrapping it around my frame and a pole far exceeds any U-Lock that I've ever used. For the price, it cannot be beaten.

This product was provided to me for a Vine review in exchange for my honest, unbiased opinion. The product that I’m reviewing is a folding metal bicycle lock which currently (as of March 2025) sells for about $23.00. I’m a fairly serious cyclist, so this product grabbed my attention when I saw it. The idea, I suppose, is that it’d be harder for a bike thief to cut through nearly 6mm of solid metal than to cut a chain link or woven metal cord. The lock also folds pretty flat into a compact size, much smaller than most quality bike locks, which is also a big plus. Finally, this item has a holder which can be mounted on your bike frame, so that it’s always with you and doesn’t take up space in a pocket or backpack. Two keys to the lock are also included.I’m not altogether certain that this type of lock is really more secure than a chain or metal cord. I’ve inspected it pretty carefully and think it really comes down to the strength of the bolts holding each length of metal together in this design, which I’m in no position to judge without taking a crowbar between two sections myself. I think, though, that this is one of those items whose very presence would deter someone from stealing your bike on impulse— and wouldn’t deter an experienced or committed thief. And that said, we all know that chain links and metal cords already get cut by experienced, committed thieves every day. I tend not to trust bike locks anyway, using them mostly for very brief periods of time in places with a lot of traffic and visibility or where I’m within watching distance. I don’t think that this lock will change that, but I’ll hang onto it just because of its compact size.

I LOVE 💖 this Bike Lock! It's way more secure than chain or cable locks (I doubt cable snips or bolt cutters would get thru this). And this lock is lighter than u-lock and easier to fit around the bike to lock to a post. My bf and I each have 1 key and leave 1 key at home just in case bc there's 3 keys. 🔑🔑🔑 5 Stars ★★★★★ A great value for the money & a small price to pay to deter thieves! I will post a pic or vid when I get a chance-it's winter here still ❄️😅

The pros on this lock outweigh the cons for what we're using it for. I've got two folding adult scooters (not electric) that cost just enough that we don't want them stolen. This lock does a fine job of securing them. Of course even the most expensive locks (cable, plate, etc.) can be destroyed quickly by a determined thief, but this one provides enough protection to keep honest people (or even slightly dishonest people) honest. The lock cylinder is NOT the cheap easily picked file cabinet type found on so many inexpensive locks. Having three keys means we each have one and a spare is kept in the car. The entire folded up lock fits nice on the handlebar of the scooter (mount is included) and it's light enough to stick it in the knapsack while we're moving. One note - I ride a rather expensive bike - as in $$$$ - it is NOT substantial enough for that - but then, most locks aren't anyway. Still, THIS is a good lock and I DO recommend it.
