They're typical folders, heavy paper, not plastic. I do not like plastic folders. My only gripe is that the colors are not portrayed quite right. They are a little darker than pictured. There are a number of dark blue, almost navy. I prefer a lighter color folder so that the writing on the outside shows up better.

Good heavy duty paper folders. The 10 pack is a good value. Nice bright colors for easy visibility in my backpack.

The folders came in all different colors. That is great for separating subjects and finding them easily by color. The folders are thin but can hold a lot and the pockets keep everything from falling out.
