This is a bit of a truly personal topic, but as someone with MANY digestive problems and short legs, I found myself on my tip toes often. I had used toilet stools before and I'm not sure what kept me from getting my own, but it's exactly what I need! It's perfect height for my short legs. It might be a little too high for longer legs but I think moving it away from the toilet would assist in that. I can finally go to the bathroom comfortably and in a much more natural pose that aids in my issues. Also the wood is very nice and thick, very sturdy and looks good in our foresty themed bathroom.Definitely recommend!

It was just a smidge too high for optimal comfort and squatting (yes, I'm shamelessly diving into the realm of TMI here). Enter this marvelous bamboo stool, stage left!Now, let me confess my initial oversight. Little did I know that this stool came with a middle wood piece that would have thwarted my grand plan. My fellow bathroom warriors, with a touch of ingenuity, I assembled this squatty stool and intentionally omitted the middle bar. Voila! A stroke of genius, if I may say so myself.The round part of this stool turned out to be a perfect match, a gentle embrace, for my dear Dometic toilet. I cleverly positioned it to the side, staying out of my way when not in use, and effortlessly swing it around when nature's call beckoned. A seamless dance, in the symphony of convenience and comfort.Let me assure you, this stool's sturdiness is unparalleled for my unconventional usage. No wobbling, no instability — just solid support for my squatty aspirations. Now, I must mention a tiny drawback, for the sake of full disclosure. The screws, alas, are not gracefully hidden away. They insist on making their presence known, a visual reminder that perfection is elusive. If you plan to employ this stool as a step for your little ones, I'd highly recommend inserting that middle board for added safety.On the quest for bathroom bliss, this bamboo bathroom stool, when used as an unofficial squatty potty for my RV throne, has proven to be a delightfully unexpected solution. Its a nice foot stool for the bathroom. It fits neatly by the toilet and doesn't really get in the way with the cut out curve. I'm not sure if it would use it as a stool for little kids. It doesn't have grips and I could see it wearing down over time. Its defiantly suppose to be just a foot prop. Visually the wood grain does look printed, but its a good quality over all. I wish the top screws had a brown cap or something to hide the silver screws, sort of like Ikea furniture.

I’m 5’3” and this is just slightly too low for me. It looks great though, a vast improvement over the plastic ones. It’s also an excellent step stool for my four year old. Easy to install and very sturdy.
