This is a very well made set of rods. I have a 10lbs camera attached as I use them as part of my top mount assembly. Great item and they come in different sizes.

The carbon fiber rods are incredibly light. I use these to mount a monitor assembly, and they are the right length for this purpose. Of course, these aren't threaded, so you won't be able to use your stoppers with these. However, this isn't a big deal, because I don't think anyone uses stoppers on accessory sets like these assemblies, anyway. If you're a modular builder, then I would recommend carbon fiber rods like these for your sub-components without hesitation.

I got these rails as an alternative to a set of longer aluminum ones I have. These carbon fiber rails seem to work fine with all of my rail clamps. One thing I noticed about these, is that the ends do not have a chamfer on the outer diameter, which makes it a little bit harder to slide the clamps on. It's not a big problem, but it's enough of an issue that I noticed it. I think for anything longer than the 20cm rails that I got, I'd probably rather stick with aluminum as it's less likely to have any manufacturing issues. For something this small, the difference in weight over aluminum really doesn't make that big of a difference anyway.
