These are well made but pricey yet they are more functional for my needs than the travel cases that came with my singing bowls. They don't offer as much by way of protection but for large bowls, this is the easiest way to use them regularly that I’ve found. The alternative is using plastic bags to help the bowls slide out of the travel cases but plastic bags aren't lasting and neoprene is if properly cared for. I love the purple color and image printed on these cases but oddly enough the description never mentioned that there is a sewn-in pouch holder for a striker to live in along the side. I recommend these for those who are careful with their bowls and have a safe location to store them. If you have what I call Thumbthritis in your thumb joints, you're going to love these as much as I do. Pulling heavy bowls out of a travel case isn't easy for elders and this is a great solution. You don't need a case for every bowl if you have a large bowl set, so start by getting the biggest size you need and if necessary the next biggest until you find a sweet spot to save money since smaller bowls can rest inside of these in their padded travel dividers. At least this is what I did and is working for me.

I have 8 crystal bowls total as I am an energy healer and teacher and use the bowls for clients and students as well as myself to heal. I love this bamboo mallet and ordered a few. One of my bowls, the thicker of the group with a color layer, does not play with this mallet, I think it has less friction. But, all my other bowls play beautifully with it. I like that you have two choices of how to play it, with the tip or the handle. Some bowls play better with different parts and some like the 'old school' suede ones. I have three different mallets and this is my favorite. It doesn't shed like the suede.

This feels like a medium hardness to me and makes a great sound on crystal bowls when struck. It is also so easy to make the bowls sing and if you mess up, you don't get the grinding sound from these like you do from other mallets that just have a rubber tip.

If you play bowls this is the one you need!!!! No more scraping sound of the bamboo on the bowl. When playing multiple bowls at once it can get tricky keeping the rubber on the bowl. You don't really need to worry about that with this. I absolutely love it. I wish it was a little cheaper but these are hard to find.

Love this bag. Great value. Purchased 4 bags for each one of my 10 inch crystal singing bowls. The bag is very secure, thick and protective and zippers closed well. Be sure to keep the plastic bag each case comes with you will need it to put your crystal bowl in before putting in the case. It is such a snug and secure fit that the plastic bag is needed to be able to slide the crystal bowl in and then back out.

Good case although does not come with any protective sleeves. I had to find a source outside of Amazon to find protective sleeves so the bowl is better protected inside the case and extra sleeves to store additional bowls. This is a large case that you can store 2-3 bowls. I use it for a 11” and 10” bowl and it works beautifully. Not too heavy and provides excellent protection.My only complaint, I was annoyed that you cannot buy the sleeves separately and/or they do not come with the case! Very frustrating! I would have given this case 5 stars but felt it fell short with out the sleeves.
