Don't count on it fitting a 2x2 board it's bigger. The measurement is exactly 2 in by 2 in

Our HOA made us cover our AC unit which is next to driveway and visible from street. The stake type privacy fence would not work so I bought these to Tapcon into concrete drive and simply insert 2" PVC posts into metal flange. Tip: reverse metal ground stake into PVC and drill through PVC and Metal Stake for added strength.

This is just what I needed for my aluminum fence installation!Although screws were provided they weren't what I needed so I had to purchase other ones.Overall a nice strong bracket.

They don’t fit 2x2s from the hardware store. Large gap.
