This Five Oceans internal track slide is made of injection-molded Nylon. It is used to secure mains or mizzens to their spars to make lowering sails easier. These track slides have been carefully designed to allow compatibility with the widest possible range of mast sections.

They look just like the original ones on my 42 year old boat. Appear to be of good quality and I expect them to last as long as the Original that I didn't have to replace but with a larger main I required more slides. Great price compared to the marina and a quality product.

The ones in size 7/16" appear to be a direct replacement for my broken Bainbridge A013 slugs (aka Selden 511-601). I'll be installing them tomorrow and will update the review if/when they break.
