I got this canoe paddle from Five Oceans. I am part of a scouting-type organization and we have a set of canoes and kayaks. I wanted to have a spare paddle for our outings.This is about what I expected. It's a good length and decent material. The only weak spot is the rivets holding the plastic handle and paddle to the shaft. They look to be a little thin and probably wouldn't stand up to frequent harsh use. For occasional/careful use I think they should be okay.

This paddle with an aluminum handle and plastic fin and t-grip seems like a great option to keep in your canoe or rowboat when needed. It feels solid, and the curved paddle works well as long as it is facing the right direction.Note this is a single paddle, so probably not useful in a kayak. It seems like it will hold up well in any weather or when exposed to elements, so possibly a great option to keep in a canoe or boat that is stored outside. Note that it's too short to be used while standing on a paddleboard, but my kids enjoyed using it while sitting on the paddleboard.
