For the money, if the lens clouds up, to me, would be akin to the lights burning out and having to replace them, which is a real PITA and actually costly. I can just buy a brighter, better and new unit for about the same cost and time. Perfect fit, works great, looks great, 5-minute install, whats not to like? A recommended product from me. Just ordered a second one for the wifes Escape.

It fixed my break light problem. I didn’t know my break lights were not working until someone told me. I replaced the bulbs checked fuses and I couldn’t find the issue. Until I checked the 3rd break light and it wasn’t good anymore. I ordered this light and installed in less than 10 minutes. And my break lights were working again. Plus I like the LED lights better.

I didn't pass vehicle inspection because my third brake ought was not working. The station wanted to replace it for me for $149 with the new part. I said that was ridiculous, I'll do it myself. While they finished the bill, I ordered the part from Amazon to arrive that same day for only $29.When it arrived I was amazed by how thorough the light assembly was. It had new assembly gasket, rubber washers for the screws, and a new spray nozzle for the rear window washer. This was a great purchase, affordable and quality.

So far this is a good upgrade. Fit it spot on. Nice and bright better than the old oem. Easy to install. For the price you can beat it.

This. Was purchased for 2011 Ford Escape. It fits in place but the wiring harness wouldn't stay clipped in and I had to secure it with electrical tap. When I tried to insert the original wiper fluid nozzle it wouldn't fit in and I had to use a small utility knife to delicately scrap the edges to make it large enough, thn use fine tipped needle nose pliers to squeeze the secure clips to get it to fit .

This product is exact to OEM size specifications, I had no problems at all installing it as my old one was burned up and actually broke in half on the inside! The light is super bright and your able to see it very well at night. Love it, a great replacement 3rd brake light for my 2010 Ford Escape XLT Thanks Guys Awesome Love it! Working Great so far!

Very easy to install. Hardest effort is getting the old part out as the connectors are old and corroded. Fits perfectly and works immediately. All necessary parts included. While it does provide a new sensor, the instructions included recommend using the sensor that came with the car- not hard to swap out. Pliers, flat head and Phillips screw drivers needed for the work.
