I got it promptly and it is a good quality boom arm. Little bit difficult to unfold it at the beginning.

I bought this on sale just too see if it could hold up my RE-20 and it does. The included foam windscreen even fits! The foam is vacuum bagged, so you might need to moisten it to make it puff up.

I was getting keyboard and desk vibration noises in my audio, so I bought this in hopes to eliminate the typing and desktop sounds that my FiFine mic was getting. This has helped tremendously!! No more desktop vibrations, and keyboard sounds are dramatically less. I'm very happy with this shock mount!

So it comes in good packaging, it's seemingly well made, my biggest problem with it is that the isolation is very.... mediocre.I have to position the mic/arm/shock mount in different ways to get the mic to isolate from shock (bumping table, boom arm, even just typing reverberates through the boom and shock mount if it's not in the correct position.I've found that hanging the mic such as in all of the pictures of the product is the worst and makes 0 difference from having no shock mount. If I place it so the mic is vertically upwards or parallel to the desk, then it isolates sound much better but still not as much as one would expect from a spider shock mount of this style.I'll definitely be replacing this as soon as I possibly can as it just does not do a good enough job. 3/5 only comes because it's made out of quality materials and came as described.

I bought this because I recently purchased the Fifine K690 Microphone, and a boom arm. Unfortunately, because of the strange attachment shape of the K690, I had to find an adapter, as the shock mount I initially purchased didn't work. This one did. Yay! It's hard to find such a specific adapter, so I was glad to find this one. Granted, I was a bit hesitant to spend nearly $25 on this ( I was expecting closer to $20 initially), but when you're looking for an oddly specific part, you take what you can get. The bands seem fairly strong, though I keep my mic upright, so other people's may wear out quicker. It's nice to have a little space between the mic and the shock mount, as it allows for me to keep my cable off of the table and keep it from bending. The only reason that I'm not giving this product 5 stars is because the part you use to tighten the mount to prevent it from bending up and down is a bit weak, so we'll see how well it holds up over the coming months. Overall, though, I'm just glad I managed to find a shock mount that had an adapter for such an oddly specific microphone.

Mounted shockmount on a small desktop “kick drum” mic stand because of limited space. Works very well. The windscreen does the job. All in all I am very satisfied with it

Overall didn't last very long. Would have had a 5 star if it didn't break so soon and easily. It helped a lot for desk bumps for when it actually held a mic, but it can't do that if it can't hold a mic anymore. I'm not that strong of a person, and the default piece the k678 comes with seems to hold it better. Guess people I chat with over discord will have to live through my keyboard and mic stand/desk bumping.
