Good replica of the Advent Children buster sword(s). The only downside is that the screws can get stuck or have trouble threading all the way through.

As the headline says. Its an okay gift, any FF7 fan would dig it, but;The only "instructions" is a diagram of the swords, with no actual instructions on how to screw things in.Also, the fact that most the holes were gunks up with bad mold/metal chunks. Not too hard to clear out but, screws are a pain to insert, and assemble the thing.Overall they are sturdy chunks of metal, but screws and holes come loose extremly easy, and yet is still a nightmare to assemble. So yeah, if your able to get it cheap, its a decent collectable for fans, but otherwise, its just... 'eehhh.'

The box holding the pieces was broken open, leaving most of the pieces to rattle around inside the shipping container. Scratches over some of the pieces from shipping. The red velvet inside looked horrible, it was ripped up, none of the pieces were in their spots. There were many bubbles in the paint, however, luckily they were small. The red velvet padding rubbed off onto the pieces leaving a red hard to get off substance without ruining the paint. The instructions weren't that great, but they could have been worse, they got the job done as far as I know, I still have three long screws left over with every hole filled, maybe they are extra. The screw holes aren't sanded down, here the holes are drilled there is excess metal outside each hole leaving the surface of the pieces jagged and not flat. Screwing in most of the screws got really hard at some point and with these screws and how each hole is drilled, there's no possible way to put this together without cross threading all the threads for the screws. I don't really know what else to say. Without having my own tools, the tool provided would have easily broken putting this together.

I bought this as a gift for someone. They said they had a horrible time trying to put it together and that it's really sharp, but once assembled it was very cool. Good enough for me!

Very cool looking once all put together. Word to the wise, however, do not purchase this if you have low patience, have trouble gripping small things for prolonged periods of time, or do not/cannot look at small things for prolonged periods of time. While it didn't take a terrible amount of time to put together, it was extremely frustrating to do so. I wished while doing it that I had at least a couple more hands to use. Also, it does not come with instructions, or even a diagram of the finished product to compare to yours. I'm insanely thankful to Hamlet Hernandez for posting their put-together sword. Overall, looks amazing, has some great weight to it, but is crazy tedious to put together. I realize that from the following comparison, there are more pros than cons, but I still think that it was worth the price regardless. I just want future buyers to realize what exactly they are getting into.Pros:- cheap price in comparison to similar goods related to Final Fantasy- great collector's item- made of solid metal and not flimsy, painted plastic- looks awesome put togetherCons:- no instructions (just a diagram of the pieces and the order they go in)- so, so, so, so, so, so, so tedious- came with a tiny, rather flimsy Allen key to put the pieces together- was packaged completely loose in the box- red backdrop in box somehow shed and stuck all over the pieces- one of the pieces had a rounded corner instead of a sharp one like it was supposed to (I would ask to return it, but I only realized after I put it together and don't want to have to put another one together)- whatever gloss was used on the outside wasn't dried properly in a couple of spots, and, as a result, there were drip-marks in those areas- the screws don't like to go in straight, and I had to take it apart and put it back together several times so everything could potentially fit

This is a great piece for final fantasy fans!!! OK, I have to admit that putting all the swords together can be a bit tedious. It took me about half an hour to put it together and let me tell you, it is a piece of beauty. Did not need the instructions because it was easy for me to figure out what pieces went where after looking at the photo. The finished sword is about 6 inches long. I ordered an extra one just to display them both...although the box should come with a display holder for the finished product.
