I really dig these straps. Nice faux tweed pattern with good colors. They're slightly elastic, made up of polyester and spandex, which is more comfortable on the shoulders since it distributes the weight and reduces pressure. It makes your guitar feel lighter, and a little springy if you're the kind of player who moves around a lot, which is kind of weird at first, but it's not hard to adjust to it.Would be five stars if Fender (and so many other companies) would stop putting huge tacky logos in bright, metallic colors on the front of the strap. You can flip it around to hide it underneath but then the fastener is on your shoulder, which can be uncomfortable. You can also scrape the paint off of the leather with a knife, but then they could just use less obnoxious branding.

As I said it’s really soft and feels like good material quality but the spandex it’s like too much I knew it was elastic but it’s like REALLY REALLY elastic.

That's what they've done to make this strap "a thing". I bought a regular tweed strap a few years ago and liked it so much, I bought another but by mistake ordered this "weightless" strap. It's good, it works. The oddness is the stretchy part. It takes some getting used to. I have no idea if that's what they mean by weightless. The strap itself is not weightless so I can only assume they mean that it gives the illusion of weight reduction to the guitar. This is just stupid. I own a few guitars and my 10 pound Les Paul still feels like 10lbs. It IS however very comfortable. Cheap nylon straps cut into your neck and rub you raw. This strap feels nice. Skinny for a heavy guitar but still works well. I'd love to see a 3 inch wide version. Still a good product but the marketing team at Fender needs to rethink the marketing on this "comfort strap".

I've been using this for several months now as my main strap, and it's awesome. My back and shoulders used to kill me after three-hour weekly practices with heavy bass guitars -- StingRays, primarily -- and heavy guitars like Les Pauls, but now I can barely feel the weight. It does take a lot of getting used to, at first (the first thing any of my bandmates said when they put it on was that it felt really weird, but all wanted one). The guitar bounces if left unattended when moving around, and that made me extremely nervous when I first used it, but once you get accustomed to how it moves around, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

I didnt realise this was an elasticized strap which I have never used before. The comfort is amazing unlike anything else but it takes some getting used to with the 'bounce'

I use this on a Chapman and It defiantly feels like it lessens the impact on the shoulder. The weight is still there, but makes it more tolerable during longer jams. Stretches quite a bit but not too much. I feel like it helps with solos a little too. It allows me to push the guitar away to a better position, and readjust when moving up or down the fretboard. I use Schaller strap locks, and had to stretch the holes a little to accept the locks, but that’s something you have to do with every strap I have and is not a bad thing. Great strap. Buy it.

Update: All of these straps are still running strong, highly recommend! These are great guitar straps, very soft and comfortable, but made with a level of quality that makes me feel pretty confident that it will last for a long time. I didn't rate it more stars on sturdiness simply because I haven't been using it for long enough to know how well it will hold up. For the most part though, Fender seems to know what they are doing. I'd recommend this to someone looking to not spend a ton, but still wants a decent accessory for their guitar.
