I bought a cheap Squier Strat secondhand and the whammy bar had broken off in the old vibrato. I bought this one as a replacement and couldn't be happier. I've noticed much better sustain and tuning stability compared to the stock bridge.

I ordered this (by recommendation) as an upgrade for my Squier Strat SE.It is a much higher quality bridge than what came on my Strat. Its twice as thick and is made of steel instead of pot metal. The tone block is 3 times the size of my original but will still allow the back plate to be installed.Unfortunately the mount holes do not line up and the body will have to be routed out to accept the larger tone block. Its an easy fix and will end up being much better than stock. Simply drill out the old holes, glue dowel rods in them, and drill new holes.

Good replacement bridge but get ready to modify your wammy bar. The 10/32 threads in the block are tapped at an angle that puts the bar way up. Need to bend it down.

Good quality product. Make sure you have the right spacing for the screws. 2 7/32, or sometimes referred to as 2 3/8 is where this will work. NOT on 2 1/8 screw spacing. Does not come with mounting screws or anything else though, so make sure you get the other stuff like a trem arm, screws, springs, claw, etc. if you need them.Only other thing was shipping. Took almost a month. But it came when they said it would.

Got a hold of an old MIJ from the 80’s lawsuit Memphis. Love these things. Got the bridge . Sure I had to fill in the old holes with kabob sticks on the body. Easy throw on an squire necks alined them both. Perfect. It ended being spot on intination this ain’t my first part a caster so I’ve had a lot experience in this. Was only saddened about not getting new screws but I have plenty of parts.

I had a heck of a time trying to find a bridge that would fit my Korean squire...It seems that whomever drilled out the holes initially, didn't do the proper measurements..So every official bridge out there, wouldn't "fit"...I ended up trying to find the closest thing and this was it...It didn't line up 100%, but it was close enough and I was able to install the bridge without issue..The tail of the bridge is a little taller than my old one, so I have to leave the trem cover off...Again, no big deal and it plays without issue..

When I put the tremolo arm in, I had to really crank it in. In order to get it to stay put. Eventually I used blue thread locker and teflon tape and now she’s good and haven’t had an issue.

Ping Works, made in Taiwan. Standard OEM Fender hardware. Nicely made. Clean, polished, looks solid. The saddles are the bent steel type. No apparent manufacturing flaws at all. Easy to install and setup. Instant improvement in tone, namely sustain and note "bloom". My one concern is my previous tremolo arm didn't fit this new trem (it doesn't screw in): mine was the cheap metric kind; this bridge seems to be standard (inches). Price is pretty much par.
