While the metal posts themselves feel sturdy, combining two pieces together with undersized hardware seams like a weak/fail point. Wish the bolts were larger, as well as the fence screws to be much longer. They are only about an inch long, should easily be double that. Will switch out and use my own hardware.I will probably seal the connection point between the upper and lower posts to try and keep water out, as this is will eventually be a weak/fail point as well.This is why I feel these would be good for a quick fix until the post could be properly repaired. Value for price is still decent though.

I discovered this idea of fence repair posts a few years ago, and I'm totally sold. They won't fix an entirely broken fence, but my issue has been a gradual "lean" after extremely wet summers and strong winds. These posts work perfectly.The reason I dropped a star, as these specific posts come in two parts, and need to be screwed together. This was underwhelming as it feels this reduces it's strength, although in fairness it still seems extremely strong, but I simply don't see the utility of it arriving in two parts.

I recently had to privacy fence posts break toward the bottom, due to wind and years of being in the elements. I needed a quick fix, and one that was reliable to prevent my dogs from getting out of the yard. This kit makes it super easy. It looks like the description, and following the directions it repairs the broken fence mount with very little effort. Obviously, the ultimate solution will one day be to replace the entire beam, but I am confident at this point this kit will last until I do.

One of these broke during install. The other one was okay, but was pretty beat up by the time I got it hammered into the ground. Wish it was a higher quality product.

These fence post repair stakes proved incredibly useful! After two of my wooden fence posts started leaning following some heavy storms, I was dreading having to dig out and replace the entire posts. Was doubtful as one of the review mentioned it was thin. In receiving it feels like 4mm and not bending. I proceeded with putting it together and hammering it into the ground and screw into the fence post. Little to no movement so pretty happy with it. One was mounted with some additional wood to the post as there was a concrete foundation and needed to spike it away from it.

Poor instructions re: details. Missing washers & screws and pieces. Box looks as tho perhaps dropped, torn, as it was taped up heavily. I'll have to call & request missing parts or buy my own elsewhere. Little bag holding screws etc, had holes all over it. Can't put it up, & really don't know what to do with the tools included.
