For those using a G tube feeding system - this is so much more comfortable than gauze. And since they are washable - are ultimately more cost effective.

These are being used for my adult sons peg tube which often has leaking. The covers are perfect and an excellent value. These wash great either by hand or in the washer. I do not put them in the dryer. They have been washed several times and are still in great shape.

I did not realize that this is what I needed. These pads replace the split drainage sponges/gauze. I have been using the same batch of pads since mid August and I an beyond satisfied.PROS:They are reasonably priced.They snap at the top eliminating the need for tape that eventually becomes an irritant to the skin.In the pictures I posted you can see that they hold up well in the washer and dryer.They protect your clothes from any potential drainage.I now feel comfortable wearing white because I am certain these pads will not let me down.

These have really helped my dad keep his feeding tube stoma clean. If you are caretaking for someone with a feeding tube, these are very helpful. I put them all in a small laundry bag and wash together.
