Great product. I have order other wire and got 20 gage instead of promised 18 gage. Without a doubt this is 16 gage and works great. It was an easy install and I would order again.

This cable is nice and thick. Not easy to break and doesn’t bend when stepped on. Easy hook up to our dog fence and works great! Needless to say our dogs have not left our yard!

Packaging appeared good, but both spools were busted inside. Cannot roll it out. Waited 4 days for it to get here, now trying to Jerry rig something so I don’t have to return and wait another 4 days for a new delivery hoping that one isn’t busted also.

I bought this so I could get a better gauge wire for the invisible dog fence. This was perfect. Rolled it out around over an acre, hooked it up and was good to go. The higher gauge wire that comes with the fence kits breaks very easily which is a pain to find and fix.

16 gauge is plenty heavy enough, Much heavier duty then the standard wire that comes with the kit. I see this holding up from many Many years to come, a great buy! I don’t think the 14 gauge is necessary after installing this nice Roll of 1500 ft 16 gauge wire. It’s a solid core wire and just flexible enough to work with.

Solid product, with a very thick coating. Dropped the spool, dragged it using the wire alone, and other sorts of abuses...everything stayed intact. Very worthwhile.

Purchased a PetSafe in ground system off Amazon. The wire that came with the system was a bit thin for my liking, so I chose to purchase this wire separately, and I'm glad I did. I rented a cable trenching machine from a local lawn and garden center, placed the spool on the designated area and within an hour and a half had trenched the cable around my 2 acre yard. This wire came just as expected, single stranded insulated copper wire that was much stronger than the 20 gauge yellow wire that came with the kit. I chose the 16 gauge opposed to the 14 gauge wire offered mostly because of budgeting. After researching professional installers, I found that most installers chose 16 or 14 gauge wire, so I was confident in my decision. Very pleased with the product, and I am happy to say my two canines have loved playing in the yard with no restrictions! Great product, would definitely recommend going with the heavier gauge wire opposed to the thinner wire provided with the kit.

we received our wire in a very timely fashion and worked perfectly to add area on to our underground fence to keep our husky at home.
