I LOVE this strainer. The mesh is super fine so you don’t get residue at the bottom of your cup. This one is large, so I use it in a glass pot I have. Highly recommend! 🍵

I like tea strainers/infusers, but I have small tools for a single person or at most two people, so this was a nice surprise to see. However, this is quite large and probably goes beyond 4 people, so I still seem to lack something in between. Of course you can only fill half or even less of it, but its large size would still require a large pot for it to be placed in, possibly with a considerable amount of water too.To start from the beginning, it looks beautiful. I think it would make a great gift for a tea lover both with its function and with its looks. It is made of a very thin metal layer. It is somewhat flexible, but still sturdy. The mesh holes are so small that I wondered if there were really holes there, but yes, there are, and such small holes keep all the bits and pieces of your tea in the strainer, including the smallest. Due to small holes, I was worried if it would be hard to clean it, but so far, I had no problems. I usually put it in a dishwasher and it is cleaned well.As I mentioned, the large size will let you prepare a batch for quite many people. The most important thing is to make sure that it will fit through the lid of your pot. The chain and hook at the top was quite useful for me as I used them to have the strainer stay in water suspended. I used a smaller glass pot, but I could have the chain make loops so it would still have the necessary length of chain lead to have it suspended midway in the small pot.Overall, I love it. I love using infusers and this is a fine addition to my arsenal. My only problem is that it is an overkill for a single person or a few people, but it is the perfect tool for large batches. Its looks can make it a great gift or help you show off to your guests. At $24 CAD at the time of writing, it is not cheap, but I see it as a premium piece for your tea ceremony, so I feel it is worth it.

I originally purchased two smaller tea infusers (different brand) and the quality was great. The problem was that they were meant for individual servings of tea. I decided to purchase this large infuser as I need something that can hold about 8 tsps of tea leaves. This does the job. My fault for not measuring the opening of my 2L mason jar, but this infuser doesn't fit. I had to steep in a different vessel. The infuser itself has a long chain and the lid does screw on securely. The container itself is solid stainless steel, but it's soft/thin so I wouldn't squeeze it too hard (it might dent). I've put it through the dishwasher without issue. This is my go-to infuser for cold-brew Tealish teas, which I seem to be making every other week.

I got this to make overnight cold brew tea in my beverage dispenser and it works wonderfully. The micro perforations really help prevent errant tea leaves from escaping.

There isn't much to say about this tea infuser except it appears to be well constructed without visible defects and without sharp edges of any sort (something that's critical to me for any kitchenware or the alike). It's slightly larger than expected and almost didn't fit where it's intended for but it does work as expected without issues given the circumstance. The infuser is easy to use; twist and turn lid to open/close and that's all there is really. I do appreciate the little hook at the tip which is quite useful for taller mugs/tumblers or slightly taller pots etc. This particular infuser is noticeably larger than most others that I've come across (and I have MANY of 'em) and it can certainly be used not just for tea but for anything and everything else your heart desires. In fact, it's a bit too large for its intended use but it works out just fine in the end.It claims to be made of stainless steel but I see no evidence of that (i.e. no stamp/mark) although I also haven't seen anything that would indicate otherwise. I guess time will tell.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a reasonably decent tea infuser that appears to be well-constructed and works as expected without issues. Though, I do hope that it is in fact made of SUS 304 and have the appropriate stamp/marking on it so indicate as such. It's somewhat reasonably priced at $24 for what it provides and its apparent built quality, usability, and performance. Its longevity remains to be seen, as always.

I wanted a larger tea infuser, to make a pot of tea at a time rather than just a cup, and this one fit the bill. Lightweight metal, easy to use and clean, a good price, and looks cute hanging in my kitchen when not in use.
