I picked up these Extra Large 1.18" Mounting Poster Putty dots because I needed something strong to hang a thick poster without wrecking my walls. Honestly, getting the protective film off these things was a bit of a pain—it took more patience than I had expected. But once that bit was over, I was impressed. They stick incredibly well and my poster hasn’t budged since I put it up. These dots are tough and do exactly what you need them to do—just be ready for a mini workout peeling them off. Solid four stars from me!

Perfect size I needed, but only good for paper. One side of the adhesive backing is hard to remove, the other side is almost impossible without damaging the adhesive. Don’t bother.

Difficult to remove the backing from the gum. I used it, but it takes over a minute to peel the backing off.

I needed to ha g bunting above my windows for an inauguration party, but didn’t want toDrill holes. The Command strips specifically state they won’t work on textured walls, but I found these sticky dots instead and they are the absolute best!! Never a single budge, the bunting has been up for days and is still perfectly secure! I haven’t had to remove yet, so I am not sure how it will go.

Title says it all. It worked amazing for putting together an ikea desk without damaging the top. We used a few on top of each drawer and viola! Desk moves as a whole and you don't have to worry about it wiggling around. So I'd say these work fantastic!

It is very sticky but in a good way. I bought a heavy tempered glass top for my coffee table and put these round mounting stickers on each corner and it held the glasstop well. I am not worried about it slipping or getting damaged. I had to do some adjustments on the placement under the glass top and it was easy to remove. No residue. I will be buying more in different sizes.

I got these because I was tired of fighting the mounting putty that came with glow in the dark stars I bought to put on the ceiling of my bedroom. I simply traced the outline of the star and cut it out. These definitely aren't used for such a situation. They might work well if they are used as they are intended to be used, but, to suit my needs, I used them in a unconventional manner.That being said, because of this, they didn't perform very well. They didn't fail, but, they weren't a complete success either. When cutting them out to be the exact size of the stars, whenever I got to cutting out the pointed tip of the star, for whatever reason, it'd bunch up and I always ended up with a rounded tip rather than a pointed one. Also these are not user friendly if you have to remove it after placing it down. Even if you do so immediately, and barely stick it to the surface you're mounting whatever on. It still fought me, and either it stayed stuck to the ceiling while the star peeling off, or the star stayed to the mounting adhesive, but, some of the paint did not. Also, it was very quick to lose adhesiveness if I didn't get it right the first time, and I had to make sure to really press down hard for several seconds on the second attempt to ensure it stuck.I must say though, for the ones that I got right on the first try, they definitely won't be going anywhere. However, I'm afraid that I won't be able to say the same for the paint. I have a feeling that paint will be removed when I take down the stars. Oh well. Not a deal breaker for me as I don't plan on taking them down anytime soon.They are a little on the thick side, but, I don't mind as it adds to its durability. I like that they are clear so they don't take away from it being nice to look at. (It'd be really ugly if you could see the mounting putty from the front).So, I'm not totally against nor totally for these. I did have to give them a try though. Again, perhaps they perform better if used as intended.
