Expensive but haven't tested bug repellent properties yet. Bought M/L - socks look very small. They are stretchy and fit when stretched. Do not know how comfortable they will be or if they will bind the foot. Color is a medium grey looks white in the picture online.

If you’re like me and mosquitoes love you, then anything resembling the sentiment of “bug repellent, deterrent, avoidant etc” is appealing.Pros - socks are comfy, warm, & aren’t itchy.Cons - a mosquito landed in the space where my pant leg ended and the socks began. Literally a 1.5 inch space of skin where the rest of my body was covered. It happened in slow-mo of seeing the mosquito land on my lower shin/upper ankle & then my hand coming into slap it all while yelling “WTAF! I’m wearing bug repellent socks!”Soooo yeah, I’m back to square one of finding bug repellent socks/clothing.

These fit perfect for my size 9 feet. They are very cushioned and comfortable and the bonus is that they are bug proof. When I travel I usually treat my clothing with permethrin; these socks are travel ready. There is a high wool content but these socks are soft not scratchy. Highly recommend!
