I got this vershop Desk Ring Light for Laptop for using while at office as even with the room lights on my laptop setting is such that when I attend a virtual meeting it makes my face darker as compared to others. This ring light provides the perfect illumination that I was looking for and is not at all strenuous to my eyes. Also, since it is a USB plug-in I can easily plug it into one of the ports in my laptop. It comes with a user manual and a tripod stand which I have not needed yet. It offers 3 different light colors—white/ warm/natural and quite a few levels of adjustable brightness which you can easily set per your preference. It now stays constantly in my tote bag that I carry to the office so it is handy. I wish it had a charge holding option but if bells and whistles are too much then I can live without it. Overall, I like it and it does the job beautifully.

It comes with everything you need to use it as a laptop or even desktop ring light for Teams calls for work. The clip works well and holds efficiently and if you don't want it on your screen you can use the inluded small tripod. We only used it with the clamp but one thing I'd be concerned about if using it with the tripod is that the light would come from below and make your face look weird? On top of my monitor, the light comes from slightly above and doesn't give the racoon eyes look, it's quite good in that regard.Another bonus in the design is that the front of the clip has a cutout! So if you're using it with a laptop you can have it front and centre, but not block the camera built into the laptop. I didn't use it this way as I'm using it with an external monitor, but this is a cool design if you're using it on the go.

Pros:- It's easy to set up with a laptop or PC monitor using the included clip. On my monitor the clip didn't obstruct the screen at all but it might if you don't have a thick bezel between the edge and the screen. Alternatively you can set it up with the small tripod which is also included.- It's surprisingly bright and does a great job illuminating your face for Zoom calls, without the harshness of a single point of light that creates more reflections.- You can choose the colour temperature of the light to match the environment and make it more comfortable to your eyes. What I Liked:- It's small and lightweight, good for clipping onto the phone or laptop with little risk of it falling over- Despite its small size, it packs a punch with its bright light.- I can customize the brightness and temperatures (Bright white, Warm White, and Amber)- It's powered via a USB-A to USB-C cable that comes with the package- It comes with a mini-tripod and rotating head; and a clip allowing for many ways to attach to anything- The clip has a rubberised and flexible interior, which keeps it super sturdy when clippedWhat I didn't- This excellent light is limited by the length of the cable. If only it was cordless and rechargeable...Otherwise, excellent product

I'm a fan of this type of light for its brightness and versatility. What's really great in this kit is the mini tripod with the adjustable ball mount. It allows you to turn your light in different directions AND it works with your phone too if you just order a cheap screw on phone mount. You also get the clip for the light to attach yo your computer screen. It's a great kit for people who create videos or do zoom calls.

Got this for my husband. His office casts shadows when on zoom calls. He was happy with the results and typically he is fast to reject things.He did mention the clip holder is a little tight to use on a monitor.
