I have a 2022 Puma. Travel trailer, and this frigerator came with it. It only lasted eighteen months, and then the refrigerator will not keep cold. I had it Look at it and needs a new compressor.

I would have left zero star but it would not let me. We got our RV brand new 2023. Now this piece of crap will not work. Freezer works great the refrigeration unit stopped working on an extended camping trip. Went through all the trouble shooting to try and fix. No luck. To replace the unit it will cost over 1000.00. WTF. I have to pull an old one from a camper we had 14 years ago that still works great. I have a Della Terra East West. They really should take a good look at what they are putting in their campers when you charging over 35k!

It has a one year warranty... Went out at 14 months said to replace computer board because they didn't have thermostat part. Replaced it.. didn't help. I found the fan was probably bad.... called to replace it.... they don't have part and said to replace the refrigerator! Lippert owns them now. I only used it for 2 months during the whole time. Not a good product and terrible customer support. I will never buy another product from either company.

Everchill 12v fridge came standard with our 2022 Coachman trailer. First trip was to Colorado and South Dakota. Fridge worked great. Trailer sat 4 months on shore power but did not have fridge on. Left for Florida 2nd week of January from mid-west. Very cold. Did not turn fridge until we got to Alabama. Fridge would not work. Lights came on but would not cool. Got to Florida and took RV to Forest River RV dealer. They diagnosed problem as bad compressor control board. It took several weeks to get the board. All work was covered under warranty. Here is the important part. Your RV battery needs to be fully charged and it tip top shape to run this fridge. Even when you are hooked to shore power. The electrical configuration keeps the RV battery in the circuit all the time. If the battery is disconnected or has low voltage the fridge will not work or will not cool properly.

I used this Everchill 11 cubic ft 12 volt compressor fridge to replace a Norcold 1200 that was not working well in our motorhome. The Everchill is only 1 cubic ft smaller on the inside and much smaller on the outside than the Norcold, but I feel I have the same amount of fridge space and more freezer space. I had enough room along the side to add a pull out pantry after removing the Norcold. There was 3 inches of space above the new fridge. I cut 2 more inches and raised the fridge up on a platform so I could put 2 large drawers underneath. This fridge is quit and keeps things at the right temperature. The freezer stays around 9 degrees and the fridge stays in safe temperature range. I at first had it set too high and things were freezing in the fridge. It can be powered off and on by pressing a button on the inside. It has LED lights and a T handle that flips over the doors and keeps the doors from coming open going around curves. The door shelves are fixed so they will not fall off like the Norcold and brake bottles and dent soda cans. I love this new fridge so far and all the storage space I gained around it by the added pantry and drawers. It was a great upgrade to the Norcold 1200.

I just finished installing it into my Class A. Was alarmed at what I found after removing the original Dometic unit, see pics....The first pic shows the 'crispy' 120 and 12 volt wiring in back of cabinet. The second shows the Dometic's cooling unit in place after removed from fridge box. Note where the RV builder ran the power cables. No wonder there are a lot of RV fires blamed on the refer unit. The 3rd pic shows the almost complete installation (I still need to seal around fridge box). 4th pic shows full side view and final is with unit running and doors open.I purchased mounting brackets for a different model fridge from etrailer (couldn't find any for this model). Two identical brackets arrived and one fit perfectly to bottom of fridge, but the top bracket holes didn't line up and required re-drilling. After install unit is very solid.

I have this Ever Chill 12v refrigerator (rebranded as Magic Chef) installed in my 2021 Flagstaff travel trailer. The freezer section works great and the 10.7cuft size is wonderful, but the refrigerator section of my unit struggles to maintain a temperature below 50F. The design does not seem to circulate a lot of air in the refrigerator section, also resulting in 10 degrees warmer in the bottom. I COULD NOT GET ANYONE TO ANSWER AS TO WHAT THE TEMPERATURE SETTING LIGHT "FLASHING" MEANS. One theory that I am going to investigate further is perhaps its not the refrigerator's fault but the electrical supply. When plugged in to shore power the refrigerator works fine (perhaps because the power convertor on the trailer provides 13.7v). But running on batteries (12.6v) the light flashes, so perhaps maybe a battery or wiring (too small of gauge) problem. UPDATE TO FOLLOW

So far so good. After numerous attempts by the dealer, we replaced the less then 3 year old Domestic refrigerator in our 2018 5th wheel that only worked when the outside temperature was below 60 degrees. The 5th wheel now has 450 watts of solar power and 5 batteries and a new Everchill 11 cubic foot refrigerator. Did all the work ourselves for less then a new 12 cubic foot dometic refrigerator. It’s been working now for about two weeks with no problems or issues and no worries. There are 5 settings and we are on #3, outside temp has been around 85 degrees high and the inside of the refrigerator has been around 38 degrees. Boondocking here we come.
