I put this bass drum head on my tama starclassic birch bubinga.I really like the sustain(no overtone) a beautiful "boom".Sound vintage 60' bass drum,Carl palmer ,a little jazzy, natural!Easy to tune!No extra muffle,tape,or hole in front bass drum head.
