My granddaughter has a job working with groups outside all day long. I thought this would help keep her cool in our hot summer weather. I know these work as I have one and use it often to keep me cool in the heat of the summer.

mine came apart at the seam oozing out cooling gell . and i had to throw it out. worked good the first time though

Works well but you have to work the gel around to evenly distribute it. I bought another one for long days in the heat(keep in a cooler).

I have made cooling scarves for many years. My last one exploded just before I was leaving on vacation at the lake. Prime got two here in time and I love them. The size is less noticeable and they stay cool longer. I keep one in the fridge, ready to wear and a dry one in the drawer which will be ready in 20 minutes. The color selection is good.

It worked while I wore it around my neck at gym. However, the 'cooling beads' did not dry out overnight and, three days later they are still moist. That makes me wary - don't want a bacteria farm around my neck! And, best I can tell, the magical cooling beads are breaking down and soaking through the material (sticky, ew). Basically it's not usable again. So, rather expensive for something that is essentially disposable.

My daughter started stealing it from me for her headaches. It has been so hot i have been using it at night then throw it back in the freezer for the next day. It really works well. good for hot flashes ladies.....

UPDATED: I have changed the stars from 3 to 4. This does work better than I initially though. After it’s soaked, let it sit at room temp for a while and it becomes much cooler. It’s still not enough to use outdoors on a hot day, but it does help around the house when I get overheated a little.I have MS and hoped this would work a little better top help me stay cool. Might work better in a dry area , but in humidity, it didn't cool much.
