The product is great and the container would be nice too. Unfortunately, they send it with a huge useless sticker that doesn’t easily come off and leaves the tin looking so gross. Too bad because it would be so nice otherwise. I just asked for a refund. It’s too much money to have a sticky container.

The Eu'Genia Pure Shea Butter Pregnancy Formula with Essence of Grapefruit is all natural with 90% pure, unrefined shea butter and 10% essential oils (Shea Oil, Grapefruit Peel Oil, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil and Baobab Seed Oil). Shea butter is an emollient that replaces lost fatty acids and moisturizes the skin. This comes in a lovely tin, and the 12 oz size is generous. While grapefruit peel oil may irritate skin, that’s not my experience. This agrees well with my dry, sensitive skin and doesn’t trigger my allergies.This shea butter smells amazing, and I don’t find it too strong. The grapefruit peel oil adds a fresh and uplifting citrusy smell to the shea butter, which naturally has its own scent that I think smells a bit sweet yet warm, lightly nutty and smoky. The scent lingers briefly, but stays close to the body and I mainly smell what’s left on my hands after massaging in the residue. The formula is thick but smooth and easily spreadable after briefly warming it with my hands.I enjoy the smell and feel of this shea butter and massage it into my skin instead of body cream, or sometimes I just massage it into discrete problem areas. It only takes a couple minutes or so to massage it in. It initially feels kind of oily, but absorbs quickly and then it doesn’t look or feel oily at all. This moisturizes and calms my dry and sometimes itchy skin, and it makes my skin feel soft and supple. Shea butter is great as it has the potential to boost collagen, firm skin, plump fine lines and more.I can’t say if Eu'Genia shea butter can prevent stretch marks from pregnancy weight gain, but I believe it’s possible. I massaged a natural oil blend into expanding areas (e.g., belly, hips, bum, chest, etc.) every single day after showering during my pregnancy. I turned 39 while pregnant and gained 75 pounds, yet got no stretch marks. Friends who did the same also avoided stretch marks. Eu'Genia shea butter seems great for improving elasticity and it has natural antioxidants and properties that might help prevent stretch marks if used consistently (though I assume genetics, diets and other factors play a role too).Either way, Eu'Genia shea butter is excellent whether pregnant or not as it’s all natural and leaves my dry skin feeling so moisturized. Plus, shea butter does has many potential benefits (too long to list here) including being anti aging given that it’s antioxidant rich with Vitamin E (may decrease scarring) and Vitamin A (may improve firming). This is a pleasing and effective chemical free moisturizer that makes my skin feel great and can have other positive skin benefits whether pregnant or not. Love it. 5 stars.

This is legit, guys. No water, no fillers, no fake additives or fragrances. One use and you’ll notice the difference. Everything about this product is lovely. The tin is beautiful, the scent-oh my gosh, the scent- I want to eat it because it smells so good! It’s hard to describe how it smells, I guess nutty, sweet, and citrusy? The scent isn’t strong, it’s very mild. Okay now the texture. It’s more solid than anything inside the tin, but it’s not hard. It’s kind of like deodorant in the way that it’s solid on it’s own but is easily applied to skin. When you scoop a little out into your hand it feels smooth and creamy, and it begins to melt immediately. A little goes a long way so start with a small amount. Once it melts and you begin to massage it in, it feels rich, silky, and luxurious. This isn’t a lotion that you slap on quickly on your way out the door, you take your time and massage this in. Take a break from the hustle and bustle, focus on yourself and some self care, relax and enjoy the amazing scent and deeply nourishing treatment. Afterwards, your skin feels soft, smooth, and silky. Even my elbows feel baby soft! I absolutely love this product, I can’t say enough about it. I would absolutely recommend it. I hope you find this review helpful!

I've tried another variant of this product (Mother's Shea, by the same brand) and it didn't agree with me. This Shea butter is far better.It's now raw, per se, but not refined in a way that it has lost all of the properties of raw Shea butter. The smell is exactly what I would expect of raw Shea butter, but with a nice natural grapefruit scent over it. It is smooth in the tin, and did not melt in transit. It arrives with a paper cover to hold the product in just in case it does melt before arrival. It moisturizes my skin very well and absorbs quickly, leaving me soft but not greasy. It's a butter, so application takes more time than a lotion or cream.Eu'genia makes 4 different Shea butter types with various formulations. Below are details on the formulations so you can make the best choice for yourself.1.) The "Mother's Shea" line comes in various fragrances and contains: shea butter (64%), shea oil (20%), apricot oil (7%), sunflower oil (7%), and fragrance (2%)2.) The "Everyday Shea" line comes in 3 varieties:-Unscented: shea butter (82.5%), shea oil (14.5%), moringa oil (0.5%), and baobab oil (0.5%)****PLEASE NOTE that these ingredients are as listed on Eu'genia's site, and there currently appears to be a typo with the percentages as they do not add up to 100% in this case. I believe that there is either 2% more Shea butter or 2% more Shea oil than what is stated.-Grapefruit or Lavender: shea butter (82.5%), shea oil (14.5%), grapefruit/lavender essential oil (2%), moringa oil (0.5%), and baobab oil (0.5%)3.) The "Pregnancy Strength" line also comes in 3 varieties:-Unscented: shea butter (90%), shea oil (6%), moringa oil (1.5%), baobab oil (1.5%)****As with the unscented version of the Everyday Shea line, Eu'genia's site currently has a typo in the ingredients. This time there is 1% missing, and I'm assuming that it's either part of the Shea butter or the Shea oil.-Grapefruit or Lavender: shea butter (90%), shea oil (6%), moringa oil (1.5%), baobab oil (1.5%), and grapefruit/lavender essential oil (1%)4.) The "Dermatological Strength" Shea only comes in unscented and it is 100% Shea butter.
