This is a perfect replacement for the integrated crownpiece padding that deteriorated on my Passier bridle. The length fit a cob bridle perfectly and it is so easy to wipe clean after a summer ride. It was a little pricier than I hoped to pay, but turned out to be well worth it.

For crown/poll padding I had certain parameters. It had to be padded, non neoprene, and velcro.A few others met those parameters but were either too bulky or had too much velcro.There are some nice leather ones that you can feed the bridle strap through, but I need something that I could also attach my rope halter to when trail riding. So velcro was a must. Back on track had 4 velcros, which I felt was just too much since I remove the halter each time.I do wish it had some curve for going behind the ears. It works well and my mare is no longer annoyed by the bridle strap rubbing her.This touches her ears too, but due to the rolled padding she no longer shakes her head when it touches and it's easier to pull back and stays put longer.
