I can absolutely see how people tore theirs trying to get it on. There are no instructions, you just kind of have to guess. Super comfortable to hold but as expected of the material, it’s a pet hair magnet. The color is cute. And the screen protector feels sturdy enough and went on with ease. Two screen protectors, shoe cover, and the case at this price? Worth it.

I got this to protect the body of my R100 camera. I have used silicon protective sleeves before and like how they help protect the camera from random bumps and scratches.The camera case I chose is green silicon. It is stretchy and flexible. It fits my camera body perfectly. The hot shoe cover is a small piece of plastic. It did not go all the way into the hot shoe and I didn't want to force it. Rather than damage the camera trying to use the hot shoe cover, I chose not to use it. I did get two protective screen covers for the viewing screen. They come in a plastic box with all the accessories needed to install them on the camera. There is also a microfiber cloth for cleaning your screen included in the box.Once installed, the camera case has raised buttons that allow you to use the cameras buttons. The only issue is they are not labeled. So, you have to know what the buttons on the camera do before you cover them with this case. Memorize them first, then put the case on the camera. Or you can draw labels on the silicon case, if you want.The case has cutouts for the battery compartment, tripod hole, the flash, and all the other items that need to be open for use. The two buttons on the upper right on back of the camera are covered. The lower two buttons are also covered, as is the button to start a video recording. The other controls are exposed so you can see them. So, I recommend memorizing the ones that are covered.There is a small textured area where your right thumb goes when holding the camera. There is also texture on the front, where your other fingers go. That is a nice feature to give you a gripping surface. This case is not really thick and not designed to protect from drops! It is mostly to keep the camera housing in good shape and free from scratches and nicks. It also can keep dust off it to some extent.I like it and it works fine with my camera. You can get more expensive ones, but this one does the job for me.

the silicon casing is a terrible fit for the canon eos r100, which this product was meant for. gaps around the viewfinder, no joke, see photos.
