Put the spring compression tool to use this past weekend. Fail with capital "F". On the very first attempt, the foot of the tool snapped like peanut brittle upon tightening the nut. Hopefully, I was able to retrieve all metal. If not...those who understand the inner workings of an internal combustion engine, no explanation necessary. To those who don't, it can lead to catastrophic engine failure. Did not put the other tools in the kit to use yet. If the quality of the cheese wedge is the same as compression tool, don't risk using it. If the cam phaser lock and crankshaft position tools fail, at least it's not likely any metal would wind up in your engine. Avoid this tool set.
