This cylinder hone has a large range/ from 2" to 7". That means it should work with any engine from lawnmowers to large automobiles. The hone is well made, much stronger than my other one. The stones are replaceable with cotter pins holding them on. There is an adjustment nut to set the tension exerted on the cylinders and it chucks into my cordless drill as it should. The shaft flexes so the hone will self adjust to the cylinder without having to be held exactly parallel. It's a nice tool at a reasonable price.

I tinker with small power equipment engines , so I had a need for a stone hone that will be able to do a small cylinder ( B&S ) 5 HP cast iron cylinder motor. It fit perfect , now for a smaller motor I can't say it will work or not but on a automotive use no problem. The stones show no indication of any wear, so they should be durable unless you hang up on the bottom of the cylinder bore. Great for a DIY or Pro this coming from a retire auto tech

Seems like a reasonable honing tool. It is stout, but not the finest-feeling tool out there. For example, the stones are pinned to the arms with cotter pins. Nothing wrong with that, particularly at this price.You can adjust the spring tension on the arms. The central shaft is a flex-shaft, to help auto-align the tool in the cylinder.
