Gives more warmth and a fuller sound to my Fender Super ChampX2

Dropped this in my Fender Champ 30 and was very impressed. The brittle highs disappeared and I had a lot more bottom end. Smoother all the way around and handles pedals very well. I only use the amp for practice but would now consider it for a gig in a small venue as the sound is so much improved compared to the stock speaker.

I put this in a silverface Princeton Reverb, and it sounds great. Very warm, and plenty of volume. I'd buy another.

This is a great warm speaker. The build quality is perfect. Great speaker for a Fender Princeton amp. Very smooth creamy tone. Great for jazz or if you like a thick clean tone. Not a rock and roll speaker.

Who spends $100 on a speaker for a $50 amp (a Peavey Baskstage 50)? What a difference!The amp is now a keeper.

Tone is a matter of personal preference so I will not rate based on that. Took a little while to break in. I used this to replace the stock speaker in my Fender Custom 68 Princeton Reverb Reissue. The highs are more subdued, the word fatter comes to mind when considering tone in comparison to the stock speaker with a semi-hollow body guitar (ES-335). High quality, solidly built speaker with top notch customer support from seller and manufacturer. With this speaker I can turn the Bass to 0, and the treble up to 7 and I still get a bassy tone that is nice for Jazz w/ ES-335, but can definitely pump out some bold rock with either that guitar or my Les Paul for sure. Heard this speaker at a friend's gig in a vintage Fender cabinet he was playing a Tele style guitar. Awesome surf sound. Definitely a quality speaker, and if you like it, you like it. I do.

I bought this for my Princeton reissue but decided to keep the Jensen Alnico. So I installed it in my VHT special 6 and I love it. It's darker and I would say less feedback prone.

This speaker sings. I was fortunate enough to find a used one on Amazon. I was hoping it was played hard but treated well. I got my wish. The speaker came well packaged and well broken in. The tonal beauty of hemp cone does not blossom until it becomes flexible, then it sings in a way no other fiber can.The Lil Buddy is an excellent offering from the fine folks at Eminence down in Kentucky.

This is the perfect speaker if you are looking for warm vintage sounding with TONS of mid range. DO NOT expect too much bass freq from this one nor spiky highs. This did not convince me for my Fender 70s Princeton amp but will probably use it if i need to record something sort of old, vintage and slightly colored in that way.
