Love the lower divider. This sink is deeper than my last one. Haven’t had it for very long, but it doesn’t seem to scratch easily.

We just remodeled out kitchen and looked at many sinks. I had a 50/50 divided sink, some pans did fit tight in the sink. I love the 60/40 divided sink and it does fit larger pot when washing. This sink also has a lower divider in it which also makes it easy with pot handles not knocking into the divider. I am pleased with by choice. The sink is also polished to hide any scratches. Its very easy to clean - I spray windex and wipe with paper towel. You can also put a small amount of dish soap on a sponge and wash and rinse. I also purchased the two sink racks which is not sold with sink.

We've had several over the years. This is our favorite to date. Sink has an elegant, functional shape, good depth, eased corners made it easy to clean, and the low divider works really well with big items. And it's not expensive.

This sink is NOT satin brushed finish I expected. It has a higher shiny brushed finish. The low divide is nice height. Also after 4 days it started to rust in the smaller bowl! I don’t want a sink that will rust! I’ve had stainless steel sinks for years and NEVER had it rust. Unacceptable. I’m returning it and my poor husband has to recut wood and all sorts for a new undermount sink.I do NOT recommend buying this sink.

I shopped for a new sink for about a year before settling on this one and it has proved to be just what I wanted. The lower middle bar is so helpful when you have large pans and both sides are roomy and deeper than what I had, which I appreciate. You can easily fit a large casserole pan on the larger side or a large pot that needs to soak. One thing I hadn't counted on was that the sink, being deeper and under-mount, meant that the whole thing turned out to be about 1 1/2" lower than my previous sink which took some getting used to since I am tall. I could have planned to raise the counter first if I had thought it through (we replaced the counters as well). Still, after a week or so I was used to it and it is not a problem. The finish is beautiful and does not seem to spot, very easy to clean. I got the fitted grids to go with it and they are wonderful - this sink will be protected and look brand new for a long time!

I absolutely love this sink.! I was leery of getting stainless steel since my mom had one years ago that was hard to keep looking good, but they have really changed. At first I wanted an enamel one, but didn't have the room for all the bracing required for such a heavy under mounted sink. Now I am really happy I chose this instead, it really looks good with matching brushed nickle faucet and bar/water filter faucet. All were ordered from Amazon. The new 1/2 high center wall is a great convenience for big pans and what sold me on this specific model.I also ordered the bottom grids to keep the sink bottoms from getting scratched by pot & pans. It's tricky to find the right grids, I had to call Elkay to get the right model numbers:Large side: LKWOBG1716SS (the "O" is for "offset drain" location)Small side: LKWBG1216SS (no "O" since the drain is the normal center location)

I'm not sure I could find a better sink for our situation. We are remodeling part of our kitchen with new granite counter tops and needed a new sink. A stainless steel sink was the only way we wanted to go. We love the 60/40 break down and the 9.5" depth. It allows us to put in very large cookie sheets and pans without sticking out much. The low divide allows the handles on pans to remain in the sink instead of sticking out. We have a removable jet/spray faucet head and the depth of the sink helps with very little if no splashing all over. A GREAT SINK! I highly recommend it to anyone!

This is a good sink. Made well from heavy duty (16 gage) stainless steel. It is kind of pricey and the prices vary widely.
