Being able to set the code allows my grandson to not have to keep track of a key. It's a little heavy... but very secure.

This combination lock is simple to use, set and operate. The cuffs themselves are sturdy and the locks are not simple to crack. The chain links are smaller than I thought but is covered which makes for less clank. The lock definitely reminds me of handcuffs. Overall, easy to transport around and used even for my kids.

I was amazed at the durability and the weight, nearly 5 pounds, of this robust lock set. If it isn't being used to lock up the bike, then it could become a weapon!!The chain is manufactured out of A# tempered heat treated iron which aids in lowering the potential of bolt cutters being effective. It is contained within a stylish material sleeve.
