I have several Savage M12 rifles that shoot lights out. I'm upgrading the scope on my 204R and realized the old mount was a Weaver base. My recent rings of choice, are the new Discovery 'honed' rings in both 6061 and 7075 al. These are Picatinny style.It's rather difficult to find a Pic base for the M12, round back, short action rifles.These are my 'go-to' bases for my M12 rifles.The quality is 100% perfect.

Came with both sets of screws. 6 48 and 8 40Don’t stress about the screws like I did. If you have a savage sa, get this. Fits perfect. No stress. Worth every dollar and shipping was very fast. 4 days.

The mount is solidly made and they included both #6 and #8 screws with one extra of each and the proper torx bit to fit. Just added a bit of blue locktite and got it mounted in minutes.

Very solid mount allows a smaller scope to Be mounted on the gun if you want too fit and finish is great still easy to load blind magazine if you have one I will continue to use this mount on all my savages I have iron sights on my savage 223 and I can still see them over the mount when my scope is detached it's really great I think it's sturdier than a two piece mount also just my own opinion I have over 450 rounds down range with the mount holding a Leopold 2x7x32 and Its built like a brick s*** house can't really say anything bad about it
