So i think its way too expensive but i do love it, I've been waiting for the price to go down and it has by $20 and the finish on it seems more smooth than on camera so it doesnt match the shade of the rifle but oh well. I thought they would make a nicer ejectiong port for the money but it isn't even enclosed on the other side.Pros: Fits perfectly, Gives you torque specs, price was lowered $20Cons: A little pricey for a .22 scope base, SMALL SCREWS STIP EASY (use a precise torque driver)This is the only mount i can find in canada so im happy these guys make 'em

There was a lot of trial and error finding the correct rail for my Mark II. I FINALLY found it, and I'm very pleased with the fit, and overall quality. Perfect for my 44 MM scope!

Have a Savage Mark II E receiver, and this base (model 41600) fits perfectly. For anyone unfamiliar with Mark IIs, there are two different receivers, the older and smaller often called "Pre-E," while the newer receivers are the same size for the Mark II and 93R. There is .505" center-to-center spacing between each pair of screw holes, and 3.345" center-to-center spacing between the innermost two screw holes closest to the ejection port. As long as your MkII/93R has that spacing, this will fit perfectly. Attached image is from EGW website. For anyone wondering, the horrible product photo used on the listing makes it look like a chalky, rough finish. Mine is a smooth, more or less matte anodized surface, similar to most scopes and rings I have owned.

I bought this rail for my Savage Mark ii G which utilizes the 1 5/8 size and it fit perfectly. Excellent quality.

I was nervous about all the issues and hassles of ordering this item online from a third-party vendor instead of directly from the EGW website. However, I received a brand new rail in the original packaging. No returns needed. This was a non-issue.As for the product: it mounted to my new Savage MK II with no fuss whatsoever. It is a beefy product and is clearly made rather well. I cannot see this item going bad or failing at any point in the future. It's a bit expensive for sure, but I see no other picatinny/weaver rail that is made to match the pre-drilled screw holes on the barrel of the Savage MK II bot-action rifle. I would recommend this product to any MK II owner who wants to run a scope, but again, I have not found any other rail options which cover the 1 5/8" ejection port on the newer MK II models and have the proper aligned drilling.

This was kind of a "I wanted it" purchase that went on a "I wanted it" rifle build. It was not crucial to my Savage Mark ii BTVS 22lr. build, but I am very happy I went with it. Firstly, the price is mid-range for a pic rail, especially a rimfire product. But when I installed it, I was reassured by the apparent 100% quality of this piece. Made in America quality with great fit and finish and everything came with it, right down to the torque spec and screws! I paired with with some Warne low rings and a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire 4-12X40 and it is a solid set up. Proper clearance all around. This 1-5/8 inch ejection port fit my Savage perfectly. The black anodize or powder coat also really mellows out the stainless steel overkill. I know this company makes many rails so I will definitely consider them in the future.

It is of good quality and fit the rifle as intended; however, the notch to facilitate the ejection of the casings is placed such that when mounted to match the ejection port on the rifle, the extended end is forward on the gun. I have an ATN scope and for whatever reason, it needs to be further back on the gun to be comfortable to see through. Thus I flipped the rail backwards so the rail extends more towards the rear of the rifle so I could then mount the scope as far back as possible. The notch on the rail does not align with the ejection port on the rifle anymore, but it still ejects casings just fine. I made a quick check to see if there was a different rail sold that was longer in the direction I needed and didn't see any results right away, and since it was working adequately I just kept it. I am giving the rail four stars due to the perfectly aligned screw holes and for it not having burrs or any rough machining. They could have made it a half inch longer is all.
