It has no adhesive tape backing and not a perfect fit but it's ok for what it is...

The item is just fine but it doesn’t come with any mounting tape installed on it or any instructions as to how to mount it. This is my third attempt to mount it. I’ve used a double stick tape, and a foam tape from Walmart. This third tape promises to be very strong. We’ll see. There are YouTube videos you may find helpful. Use a alcohol swab to clean the surfaces. One more thing, when the tape is mounted to the piece and trimmed take a black marker pen and color the tape edge before you stick it to your instrument.
