Overall, we're very happy with these landscape lighting that we installed around our rear patio. I was able to set up the entire thing within 1 hour as I had previously run the wiring so it was ready to go. These are designed for direct water and rain exposure and it appears as if ours are holding up really well under those conditions. You really can't beat it for the money. However, I would have liked the lights to be a little bit brighter. If I had my wish. I would recommend if you're looking for something that is really accent lighting and not intended to light an entire area.

We have had many of these installed for over a year now. Love them. Very durable, work great and easy to install, with good wire. Much better shielding that many other landscape lights.

In 7 months, one failed and the seller sent me two replacements, so I'm not complaining. They are bright enough and don't use a lot of power. I'm running these with 24V DC and they seem fine. If buried, they tend to get covered with leaves very easily, so I made spiral wire support stands out of aluminum welding rods to keep them a few inches above ground level (my lights are underneath hedges). As such, they are way cheaper than spotlights. The failed light had a little water in it (I took it apart).

I wish I realized how easy it is to install low voltage lighting a long time ago. I should have put this stuff in a long time ago. These lights are pretty much plug and play. They come with connectors that are super easy to use , though it's a little tough to get them on a 12 gauge supply line. Using the supplied connectors to add a light took less then five minute. They look and feel rock solid, and they work fine out of the box. I have no reason to believe that they won't last for years. The give off a nice very warm light. The lights level is just right for uplighting vegetation. I am putting some of these under some young redwoods. We like the look. I got the one watt version, and I am glad I did. We aren't trying to illuminate the yard. We just want to ad some atmosphere to our home's exterior. You get a lot of these, so I"ll do some experimenting, and try to find some ways to use more of them.I am happy I go these. Time will tell if they last. We get about 5 feet of rain a year here. If any of them don't make it through the winter, I'll come back and update this review.

This review is for the EAGLOD Low Voltage Landscape Lights LED Well Lights,3W Landscape Lighting with Connectors. The 12 lights were very tight-packed and came with good instructions that didn't need a magnifying glass to read—a separate bag for better quality low voltage fast lock connectors. Each light came with a label with the manufacturer's name and applicable markings such as CE, voltage rating, power and light colour/warmth, ambient temperature, and material/waterproof.The chrome-like seal bezel was removed and shown to be a cast. The protective lens is glass, not plastic, inside a silicon seal ring that fits nicely over the LED assembly. The three LEDs bodies are immersed in an epoxy fill. Great for water isolation. The enclosure is aluminum with a water-seal nipple where the wire enters the assembly. The machining is of sufficient quality to get the job done. This assembly is then placed into a plastic sleeve for protection.I did a light test, and it turns on around 9 VDC, and at 12, it draws just below 3W of power.Even the wire lead sleeve has markings. Provides evidence of engineering quality. Some lights come with wire leads with no markings, indicating more attention to cost savings than lang life engineering.I highly recommend it.

The lights themself are fantastic. I bought a 12 pack and installed 8 and 2 mos in one had already died. Longevity issues? Wiring is thin and difficult to strip. Time will tell I guess.Okay 3 months since I wrote my review which is 5 mos since purchase. 2 more failed which to me mean these lights are garbage. Who wants to dig out fixtures and replace them this often. I honestly regret thhis purchase. Would rate zero stars if possible....

I just finished installing over 120 low voltage lights on my property and these were placed at each of my pink honey suckle bushes. These lights create a very subtle glow on the bushes and because I have them spaced about 4ft apart they allow me to define the border of my yard without being overpowering. I am very happy with the build quality of the fixture, however the included connectors leave a lot to be desired.First of all the connectors are not waterproof and so in time I know these connections will start to fail and I will be outside replacing the connectors. Second I found it very frustrating trying to get the light fixtures lead wire secured into these connectors. Essentially the connector requires the wire to be pinched in place by the screwed on top, and with such a short section of the wire stripped it was difficult to get it positioned just right. Eventually I found that in many cases I had to strip off a small amount of insulation and then insert it into the connector. This allowed for just that little extra bit of wire to help make sure there was a solid connection. Finally I am starting to second guess my decision to use well lights instead of spot lights because these lights are in a mulch bed and any time a leaf falls on them or an animal kicks mulch over the light it gets very dark. In the long run I will probably replace these with spot lights as these lights start to fail. For the time being these create a great effect and were the cost effective solution since I was installing so many lights all at one time. I am really happy with my lighting project and hope it lasts several years before I have to start replacing lights.
