Sprays good. Cap does not fit/seal tight but so just be aware when tilting.

Bought this as a basecoat sprayer for cerakote projects when I need to run multiple colors (more than kne sprayer). I've been pleasantly surprised with how well it has worked for this price point (I wasn't expecting much). It atomizes decently and will get the job done if you are on a tight budget. Hate the o-ring on the air cap (in fact I don't use mine, seems to be doing okay without it). My rating is off the price point and well it performs. It's a cheap sprayer, expect a little splatter occasionally and a bit of fiddling.

The previous cheap Amazon gun that I used to used for Cerakote is discontinued. I recently tried some other cheap one, that was a pile of junk. You could not adjust the paint flow down to zero. This one works great. Full paint flow adjustment. I've done 5 different Cerakote jobs with it, and I am quite happy with it considering how cheap it was compared to an Iwata. This one is worth every penny.

good for touch up and almost good enough to be an air brush.

I bought this because it’s the only one I could find with an 0.8 nozzle recommended for spraying Cerakote. This spray gun blew our minds. It’s perfect for use on pistols rifles, actually anything sprayed with Cerakote. I’m a believer in this little gun. You don’t need anywhere near the pricey spray guns recommend for spraying Cerakote. I’m not knocking more expensive spray guns because I’ve never had one. I’ll come back and add some photos with our results. I’m telling you folks you won’t be disappointed in this product. I love it.

Love this gun. Other cheap guns gave me runs and clogs. But for the price it is nice. Painting the base coat came out nice and flat.Cons: On the 4-5th painting the fan decreases for some reason and cleaning the the tips very well help. It did give minimum clear coat orange peel but it was easy to sand with 2000, 2500, 3000 grit. The trigger screw comes undone and best to inspect before spraying. For the price it is nice. The mask I used during Covid-19 going in public. I highly recommend a respirator mask for painting .

I used this gun to touch up portions of guitar repairs. It works very well, indeed. Keeping the pressure as 35-40 psi makes for a perfect distribution of nitrocellulose sanding sealers and lacquers. It showed no tendency to clog, spit or leak and is very economical on the expensive products that you spray. You cannot go wrong on this unit for those small touch up jobs. I highly recommend this spray gun.
