Works as hoped. I keep it in a storage container in the freezer. They recommend putting what you will use in the fridge for a bit before submersing. Hatch rate is excellent! The first time I tried, the water wasnt salty enough. So I ended up having to do research about it. I bought a salt meter and got the water just right. I ended up using a hang on back container INSIDE the aquarium (for warmth) with an airstone inside. 18 hours later... little shrimpies!

These eggs were awesome! I had my doubts as some of my friends have ordered similar packages and there was water in the package thus ruining the eggs so they didn't hatch. Very easy to take care of. For me I have a 1 gallon tank for them. After some research I realized I didnt have the right salt for them but I needed them for baby guppy fry as they make great food for the babys and are easy for them to eat with good nutrition, so I was left with having to use normal idolized salt from my kitchen. And it worked! For now I will keep them with that salt until I've fed them all up to my fish then will switch to the right salt. I had only about 60% of the shrimp survive the 1st week but I'm sure it's due to the fact I didn't use the right salt. They begin very tiny but grow fast. Very good product over all. Will buy again when I'm out of my first bag.

Put a good amount of eggs in but only a few hatched, the rest died immediately.

I caught two of my African Dwarf Frogs in the middle of getting hoppy, so I decided to go ahead and plan for tadpoles, and I bought these eggs to use to feed the tadpoles. As it turns out, the two frogs in question are both males, so now I have pet shrimp as well as rainbow frogs. Thank you for bringing my frogs and I together, and thank you for the smelly gift of shrimp.

These had a surprisingly good hatch rate, even though I had the water much colder than recommended. They hatched in great numbers, very quickly. Great quality eggs for a great price.

The main image shows a bowl next to the product. That bowl must measure 1" wide, because this bag of eggs is absolutely TINY. Like, the entire bag is smaller than my hand. The picture is very deceiving, would NOT recommend this product for price of the quantity you receive.
