The Qodosen DX-286 Accessories Pack is intended to supplement the Qodosen DX-286 multiband portable radio. It includes a soft carry case made of gray colored polyester canvas fabric and a set of OEM replacement parts. The replacement parts are one telescopic whip antenna and mounting screw, one battery bay door, one set of six self-adhesive rubber foot pads for the base of the radio (the DX-286 uses two) and two kickstands. The canvas case with the DX-286 inside measures only 3.5 x 1.5 x 5.5”.I ordered this pack from Amazon on February 28, 2025. The item shipped from Guangdong, PRC the next day, traveled to Hong Kong and Southern California and arrived in my Northern California, USA mailbox on March 10, eleven days later.The DX-286 (purchased separately) ships with a plastic hard case. It includes a soft fabric draw-stringed pouch for the radio but the canvas soft case is more practical and more to my liking. It looks as if I have a lifetime supply of foot pads included with this kit, lol. This kit includes two spare kickstands which is a probably good idea as these pieces look thin and possibly fragile. However, this is only a suspicion on my part as these kick stands look to be made of a somewhat flexible and forgiving plastic, not hard brittle plastic. So, I haven't broken one yet. Additionally, I have never broken a telescopic whip antenna in my entire life but having the original spare is appreciated. For US $10.00 with free shipping this accessory pack is a fine deal for owners of the excellent DX-286.

Amazing FM reception.Very good Shortwave reception, with just the attached antenna. Medium Wave (AM) just so-so.But for the price this cannot be beat.I comparing this to A TUCSUN PL-880 and the CL 90 the sound was just slightly less bass on FM ( much smaller speaker) but still sounded ok.
